ChrisChris Jones is the rocker of our cast, known for his iPod loaded with various forms of head-bobbing tunes. He's also known as a kind soul who is always welcoming to others.

Chris was the perfect choice to play the role of "Hanging out at the Arrow & Loon pub."  When he travels with LiveWorkPlay he enjoys spending time with peers but also takes advantage of the opportunity to get to know others his own age. There's no reason to be surprised to walk with Chris through the lounge of a hostel and hear someone say "Hey, there's that dude Chris from Ottawa."

The fact that Chris ended up with such a friendly disposition is a testament to his inner character, because the world hasn't always returned his kindness. Sometimes the laughs and smiles are a way of masking pain. Like a lot of people who are simply "nice by nature" he took more than his share of abusive behaviour in high school. He's now more confident and comfortable with speaking up for himself and requiring appropriate respect from others.

In addition to a zest for guitar-oriented rock, Chris also loves machines. He's a real planes, trains, and automobiles guy. Those who underestimate his intelligence are often humbled by his questions and answers about his favourite topics. He can talk very fast about his favourite subjects, and those who don't take the time to catch up to what he is saying can miss out on some interesting information.

Chris spends a little bit of time at LiveWorkPlay and seldom misses out on SMILE@NIGHT, but he's also busy with a post-secondary educational program and volunteering at the Capital City Mission. He plays many sports including ice hockey, floor hockey, and weightlifting. He runs like the wind and walks almost as fast as most people can run.

Now, how do we sum up the essence of Chris Jones...try a belly laugh! One of those real ones where the laugh starts at your toes, gathers steam in your guts, and explodes out of your lungs, filling the entire room. Or house. Or concert hall.
