Jenny Dobson is a SMILE founder. Surf around our website and you'll probably find her in any section you chose - special events, trips, special projects - Jenny is almost always up for trying something new.

She's also no stranger to being in the public eye. She was one of the actors in our popular ODSP & ME video, and has been interviewed many times by local media. Jenny was chosen to play the role of a young woman in a relationship because ever since we have known her, dating and romance has been a favourite topic of conversation. And yes, she has a serious boyfriend, but it's not Warren (the actor and peer she is holding hands with).

Jenny took part in both On Our Own Together housing projects at Carleton University and has been experimenting with different living situations. She is close with her mother and her sister, they are all famous for their late night chatting abilities.

Like many of her SMILE colleagues, Jenny is developing an interest in digital photography. She has a taste for urban landscapes, and her pictures take notice of interesting and beautiful elements that most of us walk by every day without giving a second thought. Jenny is also popular as a photo subject, because the camera seems to love her.

Jenny has been competitively employed in the past and has volunteered periodically as a delivery person with Meals on Wheels. At the moment she is very focused on figuring out her long term living situation. She enjoys camping and cottaging in the summer.
