The Ontario Ministry of Community & Social Services has been a major funder of the SMILE initiative since 2000. LiveWorkPlay is not a Transfer Payment Agency, so the funding comes to us via the L'Arche Ottawa organization.

In 2009 a new partnership was established with respect to affordable supported housing with MCSS funds making it possible for LiveWorkPlay to assist 7 individuals with their independent living needs.
