Pat and Mike McBride came for dinner and so did Kathy Rodgers and Sarah Rodgers, who is back in Ottawa after her term at Potsdam University where she is in the teacher education program. Oh, and Lucas has his grandmother as a guest too! Raymond, Catherine, and Nathalie from the University of Ottawa came as well, and they stayed afterwards for what turned into a bit of a party in the lounge. It was one of the longest dinners ever, with most people hanging around and chatting long after the cafeteria was closed. Some participants are really working on healthy eating. John had a nice pear for dessert, and from the strange looks you'd think nobody had ever seen fruit before! After dinner there was a big art table that Julie helped set up across the back of the lounge and just about everyone got involved. Laura and Keenan were set up watching an entertainment show, then Jeopardy, then Canadian Idol. Jen Harris came over during Jeopardy and nailed a few tough questions. Rent was due today, and just about everyone remembered. When Warren and Ian got back from a night out with their worker, they brought in their cheques and also showed off a gift that Warren got from the Harris family to honour a certain event from last year's project. Moira and Caroline did art all night. They were very tidy and cleaned up after themselves when they were done, but the rest of the table was...ahem...not quite so tidy (see picture). Cooper came in without a word just started to clean up. Paul was watching Much Music at 10:00 when everyone else was getting ready for bed. Rachel was making a snack while Jen and Ryan were helping Jenny with some minor first aid. It was a really community sort of night, very fitting for Day 25 of the project - yes, it is one half over already! PICTURES!
