The Innovative LiveWorkPlay Approach To Long-Term Housing For People With Intellectual Disabilities
May 28: Day 21
There was some confusion today which lead to another purposeful discussion about group inclusion. You focus on including people when you have an agreement to do something together. But if there is no agreement in place, then group inclusion doesn't apply. For example, even though everyone goes to LiveWorkPlay on Friday night, that doesn't mean that people shouldn't leave at different times to get there...unless they've made an agreement to go together. There was a misunderstanding about that today, and some people were very upset about it at first, but when they realized that it was just a miscommunication, they moved on and had a good evening.
And what an evening it was! Mambo Italiano at the GCTC. Caroline was still blushing an hour after the show was over. Rachel wasn't too sure she had seen what she thought she had seen. And Dale is hoping to come back on Tuesday and see it again!
After the show it was on to Preston Street to ride the bus down to Carling and then catch the O-Train. Cooper was familiar with where to catch it, and Robin had a schedule, so it was no problem figuring things out.
PICTURES!
The theatre said "no cameras" so nobody brought one.
