May 21: Day 14
Today after he finished work at Lee Valley, Paul went shopping at the Zellers in Hazeldean. Why Hazeldean? "That's the one I like." Fair enough.
Laura has been trying desperately to get some shoes that fit properly, and with some help from her mom today they found some at Westgate. Laura said she was so excited she hugged the salesperson! She also got a glimpse of her dad's "tribute moustache" that will contiue to grow until the project is over. Laura also got a new outfit for the end of project celebration. Hard to believe, but not much more than a month to go!
Caroline bumped into Cooper at Billings Bridge and they were both on their way to Carleton for dinner so they rode the bus together. After dinner a group including Caroline ended up at Billings for ice cream. Also along for a good time were Jenny, John, Jen, Robin, and Moira.
After dinner Jen invited everyone to watch Aventures in Babysitting, one of the movies Jen got for birthday.
Cooper, Ian, and Warren are certainly taking their adult responsibilities seriously. They spent most of Friday night doing their Laundry! When Ryan came back from a babysitting job, he joined in too. Warren is so thorough that he did his wash twice. "Now you can wear that stuff for twice as along" quipped Fran.
The last people up were Paul and Cooper who were checking out the Much Music countdown and then some late night talk shows. Paul settled in to watch with a late night snack of iced tea and pineapple slices. Hey, why not?
