Making A Buzz In The Ottawa Area Since 1995
"SUCCESS THROUGH COMMUNITY"

LiveWorkPlay In The Media

In order to assist people with intellectual disabilities to live as included and contributing members of their community, it is not a simple matter of working with individual program participants at LiveWorkPlay. The rest of the world must also learn about people with intellectual disabilities, their challenges, and their abilities. Although LiveWorkPlay is primarily focused on the development of the individual, efforts are made to involve and inform the community at large, and the media is a critical conduit for sharing information.

The Ottawa community is a busy place, and it is often difficult for a grassroots organization like LiveWorkPlay to spend time in the media spotlight, no matter what the story, or how important we might think it is. However, LiveWorkPlay has had significant success in working with local media. The list below represents a selection of LiveWorkPlay media coverage in reverse chronological order.
