The LiveWorkPlay adult SMILE program is currently about 70% funded by the Ministry of Community and Social Services, and the Journeys and ACES programs for ages 13-20 are not supported by any renewable government funds. What it all means is that LiveWorkPlay needs to raise more than $100,000 to continue basic operations, and the auction is the most important fundraising event of the year. Last year's event raised more than $25,000 and the goal for 2004 is $30,000!
The auction is always a blast, and this year will be better than ever. Maison Aubrey is providing the food, Moe Atallah is our Honourary Chair, Kurt Stoodley from The New RO and Codi Jeffreys from Majic 100 are the celebrity auctioneers, and it is going to be a great night!
A number of sponsors and donors have come forward in support of this event and the work of the LiveWorkPlay organization. Those who have made contributions of $500 or more are listed below. Thank you!
I can't help with the auction, what else can I do?
